After organizing large events and galas from A to Z in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto for the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University, Leo & co is now based in the South of France, where he dedicates his time to running a small business specializing in events. Each year, he selectively chooses a small number of private events on an international scale, which allows him to work closely with his clients and produce tailor-made events based on celebration and connection. The event world is not just a business, it is a way of life. Leo takes care of all events with the same energy he puts into his Saturday night dinners that he organizes for his friends. For Leo & co, planning your special day is a joy and we are looking forward to the team that will make your dream come true. Experience

Leo’s first steps into the world of events and entertainment were taken at a young age. One of four boys who was always the first to help his mother in the kitchen, Leo quickly realized he had the ability to transform a normal weeknight dinner into a memorable gathering filled with laughter and love. Growing up in rural Ontario far from the bright lights of the city, Leo used the local resources available to create another world: “Fresh produce from my father’s garden and flowers from my mother’s garden graced the table, filled the dishes and delighted the palates of our guests.”

It was this penchant for these experiences that led him to the world of events. No longer able to depend on produce from his garden, he began looking for other products of the same quality. For an event he was organizing for the Faculty of Medicine, Leo found a vendor who agreed to grow apples and print the Faculty of Medicine brand on the skin of these apples. Upon arriving in Ottawa, Leo continued to apply the same principles he followed in his youth, the number of guests has changed exponentially, the budget he has and the event spaces are not the same as before but at heart, he works in the same spirit and has remained true to the principles that drive what he did in his parents' house. It's all about the person whose birthday it is and that's it!

Leo quickly got to know his clients so he could adapt to each one’s needs. He could work in a multitude of environments, from education and business to the charity sector and the arts and entertainment sector to fashion. Whether it was a low-key party or a large-scale event, Leo always managed to create the right energy and atmosphere.

Now let’s fast forward thirty years. It’s 2020 and Leo has produced thousands of events to this day and he still loves what he does with a passion. Each one unique, these events are designed around the guest of honor. Leo loves to organize every last detail of each event and he also loves the creative aspect behind their planning. But watching the guests who, upon arriving, marvel at what Leo has done is the best part of his job.

Wedding planning is what he loves the most. Many clients have attended a wedding planned by Leo and want to entrust him with the planning of their own nuptials. It is a great honor for Leo to be entrusted with the creation of such a special day. He enjoys working closely with the couple, understanding them and helping them to develop the celebration of their dreams.

Today, Leo divides his time between Montpellier and Montreal and, being bilingual, he fully appreciates the unique multiculturalism of each city. He is also inspired by the art, cuisine and culture of the countries he visits and whether in his private life or during the events he organizes, he knows how to share with everyone around him the scents and flavors he brings back.

Leo & co events will start work 2 months before the wedding day. We will review the contracts with the vendor, confirm your choices, let you know if anything is missing from the program and coordinate last minute changes. On the big day, a project manager will be on hand to manage the ceremony and dinner and make your dream come true. Your only worry on your wedding day will be that your tears of joy don't make your mascara run!

The Silver Formula: D-Day Planning and Coordination

For the couple who need help planning and finalising the big day. You have already made important decisions about your wedding celebrations but you need someone to make it all happen smoothly, someone who can put the finishing touches to the budget.
